Location: San Diego and surrounding area. Several opportunities exist for Registered Nurses who have at least one year of recent hospital experience. All skill levels considered, including Med/Surg, Critical Care, Emergency Room, Operating Room, PACU, Labor and Delivery, NICU and PICU.
New San Diego Travel Nursing opportunities listed during the week of March 5, 2010:
TELEMETRY UNIT:
4 RNs (Days) and 4 RNs (Nights)
12-hour, Days (7 a.m.-7 p.m.) and Nights (7 p.m.-7 a.m.)

RN must be willing to float within his/her competencies.
INTENSIVE CARE UNIT:
2 RNs needed for
Nights (11 p.m.-7:30 a.m.)
Need ACLS and BLS certification. Minimum 2 years critical care experience within the past 5 years. BSN and/or CCRN preferred.
RN must be willing to float within his/her competencies.
MICU:
Requires ACLS, prefer computer documentation experience -6 month contract
1 RN for 12 hour Day Shift
2 RNs for 12 hour Night Shift
TRAUMA TELEMETRY:
Requires strong experience with trauma, orthopedic, neurological and bariatric surgical, and Med/Surg overflow, prefer ACLS and computer documentation experience
2 RNs for 12 Hour Day Shift
OPERATING ROOM:
Requires circulating and scrub for general surgery, orthopedic, neurological surgery, call of 40-80 hours/4 weeks, call every other weekend, prefer experience with computer documentation.
1 RN for 8 Hour Evening Shift – General surg + ortho + neuro skills
1 RNs for 10 Hour Evening Shift (1500-0130) - General surg + ortho + neuro skills
1 RN for 8 Hour Day Shift OPEN HEART SKILLS
1 RN for 8 Hour Day Shift – OB/GYN skills
2 RNs for 12 Hour Day/Evening Shift (1100 to 2330) – General surg + ortho + neuro
1 RNs for 12 Hour Evening Shift (1300-0030) – General surgy + ortho + neuron
SICU:
Requires ACLS, strong trauma, general surgical, cardiac, neuro skills, prefer computer documentation experience – 6 month contract 1 RN for 12 Hour Day Shift
3 RNs for 12 Hour Night Shift
CARDIAC TELEMETRY:
Requires rhythm strip identification experience, medical, interventional, and post open heart experience with overflow, prefer ACLS and computer documentation experience – 6 month contract
5 RNs for 12 Hour Night Shift
2 RN for 12 Hour Day Shift
CARDIAC OBSERVATIONAL TELEMETRY
:
Requires rhythm strip identification, Medical and interventional cardiac skills, prefer ACLS and computer documentation
3 RNs for 12 Hour Night Shift
2 RNs for 12 Hour Day Shift
TELEMETRY STROKE
:
Requires experience with acute strokes, rhythm strip identification, medical and interventional cardiac skills, and computer charting - prefer ACLS 6 month Contract
1 RNs for 12 Hour Day Shift
PEDIATRICS
:
Requires skills for pediatrics Level II and ability to care also for adult medical/surgical patients – Require PALS and computer documentation
1 RN for 8 hour Day Shift
ENDOSCOPY:
Requires 2 years experience, ACLS, conscious sedation, and actual experience in Performing endoscopy procedures with Physicians, and call
2 RN’s for 8 hour Day Shift
ER:
Requires 2 years experience in a high volume Level II ER/ 250 pts/day, ACLS and computer charting, PALS preferred – 6 month contract
3 RNs for 12 Hour Day Shift
3 RNs for 12 Hour Night Shift
L&D:
Requires 2 years experience in a high volume L&D with 700 deliveries/month, NRP, prefer advanced fetal monitoring PREFER 6 MONTH CONTRACT
4 RNs for 12 Hour Night Shift
NICU:
Requires 2 years experience in a Level III, with computer charting, and NRP
2 RNs for 12 Hour Night Shift
PERINATAL SPECIAL CARE UNIT:
Requires 2 years experience, NRP, prefer advanced Fetal monitoring PREFER 6 MONTH CONTRACT
2 RNs for 12 Hour Night Shift
L&D:
Requires 2 years experience with volume of 350 deliveries/month, NRP, prefer advanced fetal monitoring
1 RNs for 12 Hour Night Shift
TRANSITIONAL CARE UNIT (TCU) Skilled Nursing
:
Requires understanding of Medicare charting and audits, central line experience, general med/surg skills
1 RN for 8 Hour Evening Shift
1 RN for 8 Hour Night Shift
URGENT CARE
:
1 RN - 7:00PM - 7:00AM (minimum 48 hours per week)
TELEMETRY CARE UNIT:
1 RN (Days), 1 RN (Evenings), and 1 RN (Nights)
Shift: 8 hours, Days (7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.), Evenings (3 p.m-11:30 p.m.), and Nights (11 p.m.-7:30 a.m.)
